Cancellation and Refund Terms

1. What This Document Covers
This document explains how to cancel an Eventiqs Finance subscription or Booster Pack, when refunds are given, and how long refunds take.
It forms an integral annex to the Eventiqs Finance Service Agreement. For paid purchases, the Distance Sales Agreement and Pre-Contractual Information Form also applies.

The Company's MERSİS number, trade registry details, and tax office and tax identification number are set out on the contact page of the Website and in the Distance Sales Agreement presented at checkout.
2. First, the Free Plan
Eventiqs Finance has a free plan and no card details are required to use it. You can try the product, upload your own statement and see the results before paying anything.
We recommend trying the free plan before moving to a paid plan.
3. Which Rules Apply to You?
Refund rights depend on your legal status at the time of purchase. There are two cases.
3.1. If you are a Consumer
Under art. 3 of Consumer Protection Law no. 6502, a consumer is a natural person acting for non-commercial and non-professional purposes.
If you are a Consumer you have:
- the right to terminate your subscription at any time, without giving reasons and without paying any penalty (Subscription Agreements Regulation art. 22);
- the right to have your termination request actioned within 7 days (art. 24);
- the right to a refund of the unused portion of amounts paid within 15 days (art. 25/3);
- a 14-day right of withdrawal in distance contracts — subject to the exceptions in section 6.
3.2. If you are a Merchant (company / commercial user)
Eventiqs Finance is a business application designed for the financial management of enterprises. If you purchase on behalf of a company or within your commercial or professional activity, you are not a consumer within the meaning of Law no. 6502.
In that case:
- you may cancel your subscription at any time;
- the Service continues to run until the end of the period already paid for;
- no refund is given for the period used.
Which section applies to you? This is determined by the account type you select at registration: section 3.1 applies to "Personal" accounts and section 3.2 to "Business" accounts. You can change your account type in your account settings; the change takes effect for periods following the date it is made.
Regardless of your selection, the rights of buyers who qualify as consumers within the meaning of art. 3 of Law no. 6502 are reserved.
4. How to Cancel
4.1. You can cancel your subscription at any time from within the application, in account settings. You do not need to contact us, give a reason, or complete a form.
4.2. If you prefer, you may also send your cancellation request in writing to support@eventiqs.com or to our postal address above.
4.3. Your cancellation request will be actioned within 7 days at the latest of reaching us.
4.4. Receipt of your cancellation request will be confirmed by e-mail.
5. What Happens After Cancellation

In both cases, cancelling a subscription does not mean your account or data is deleted. Your account reverts to the free plan and your data remains accessible. If you want your data deleted, see section 9.
6. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days) and Its Exception
6.1. Under the Distance Contracts Regulation, consumers have as a general rule a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts without giving reasons.
6.2. However, art. 15/1 of that Regulation lists cases in which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised. Two of them apply to Eventiqs Finance:
(ğ) Contracts for services performed instantaneously in electronic form or for intangible goods delivered instantaneously to the consumer.
(h) Contracts for services whose performance has begun, with the consumer's consent, before the withdrawal period expired.
6.3. Eventiqs Finance is a service made available for use the moment payment is approved and performed instantaneously in electronic form. For this reason, at checkout you are separately asked to confirm that you expressly request immediate performance and that you accept that your right of withdrawal ends with that consent.
6.4. You cannot complete the purchase without giving that consent. If you do not wish to give it, you may continue using the free plan.
6.5. The fact that the right of withdrawal falls within an exception does not remove your termination and pro-rata refund rights set out in section 3.1. These are separate rights arising under different legislation.
7. Annual Plan and Commitment (Early-Termination Charge)
7.1. The annual billing option is a committed subscription carrying a discount against the monthly price. The discount is granted in return for a one-year usage commitment.
7.2. If you terminate the annual plan before the commitment period expires, the refund is calculated as follows:
- The number of full months used is calculated at the monthly list price (the undiscounted price).
- That amount is deducted from the annual fee you paid.
- The balance is refunded to you.
- The discount clawed back may in no case exceed the discount actually granted.
7.3. Under this method you end up paying the undiscounted price for the period you used, while the value of the period you did not use is returned to you.
Worked example
Assume a monthly list price of $100 and an annual plan discounted by 20% to $960. Suppose you request termination after using 3 of the 12 months:

The $60 clawed back does not exceed the discount granted for the 3 months used.
7.4. The commitment period, discount rate and early-termination charge calculation method for the annual plan are shown separately in the Pre-Contractual Information Form before purchase.
8. Booster Packs
8.1. Booster Packs are one-off transaction line credits added on top of your plan limit. They are not subscriptions, do not renew automatically, are not subject to an expiry period, and remain valid until depleted.
8.2. Booster Packs are credited to your account at the moment of purchase. They therefore constitute intangible goods delivered instantaneously within the meaning of art. 15/1(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation.
8.3. Refund terms:

8.4. No partial refund is given for remaining credits in a partially used pack. Remaining credits stay valid until depleted.
9. Deleting Your Data
9.1. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your data. If you want your account and Organization data permanently deleted, send a request to support@eventiqs.com or use the deletion channel in the account section of the application.
9.2. Your deletion request will be actioned within 30 days at the latest of reaching us.
9.3. After deletion, your data may remain in backups for up to a further 30 days by reason of the backup cycle, after which it is purged from backups as well.
9.4. Invoices and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods under Tax Procedure Law no. 213 and Turkish Commercial Code no. 6102.
9.5. We recommend exporting your data in CSV and Excel formats before requesting deletion. Export can be done from within the application.
10. How Refunds Are Made
10.1. Refunds are made using the original payment method, to the same card. Refunds cannot be made in cash, by bank transfer or to another account.
10.2. Refund transactions are processed through the payment institution iyzico.
10.3. Once Eventiqs has issued the refund instruction, the time for the amount to reach your account depends on your bank's and card scheme's processes. This is typically 2–10 business days and is outside Eventiqs's control.
10.4. Eventiqs issues the refund instruction within 15 days of a consumer termination taking effect, and within 14 days of approval in other refund cases.
10.5. No transaction fee, commission or deduction is applied to refunds.
10.6. A refund invoice is issued against the original invoice, or the invoice is cancelled in accordance with applicable legislation.
11. Fee Changes and Your Right to Terminate
11.1. Increases to the fees of existing subscribers are notified at least 30 days in advance and applied only from the first renewal following the notice.
11.2. If you do not accept the increase, you may terminate your subscription within the notice period without paying any penalty. Amounts paid but unused are refunded in accordance with this document.
12. Termination by Eventiqs
12.1. If Eventiqs closes your account for breach of the Service Agreement, amounts paid but unused are refunded.
12.2. However, no refund may be given where the account is closed for unlawful activity, fraud, abuse of the system, or by order of a competent authority.
12.3. If Eventiqs discontinues the Service entirely, all amounts paid but unused are refunded without deduction, and you are given at least 30 days to export your data.

Including your account e-mail address and, where applicable, your invoice number will speed up the process.
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1. If you are a Consumer, under Law no. 6502 you may apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees within the monetary thresholds announced annually by the Ministry of Trade, and to Consumer Courts for disputes above those thresholds. You may apply to the committee or court of your place of residence or of the place where the transaction was carried out. Current thresholds are published on the Ministry of Trade website.
14.2. If you are a Merchant, the Istanbul (Central) Courts and Execution Offices have jurisdiction.
14.3. In any event, we ask that you contact us at support@eventiqs.com before pursuing legal remedies; the great majority of requests can be resolved directly.
15. Language and Updates
15.1. This document is published in Turkish and English. The English text is a convenience translation; in case of conflict the Turkish text prevails.
15.2. Material changes to this document adverse to you will be notified at least 30 days before they take effect.
15.3. Each version of this document remains accessible with its date and version number.
